These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Green Light Global Inc., a Texas corporation ("Ikraplus", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Ikraplus mobile or web application (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create your own Ikraplus account. By registering, you confirm that:
You may have only one personal account. We may suspend or remove accounts that we reasonably believe violate these terms.
Children under 13 may use the Service only through an account created and supervised by their parent or legal guardian through the Family feature.

Ikraplus is an educational application for Quran recitation, memorization, and tajweed practice. Features include:
We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce the Service's functionality.
You agree NOT to:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.
You own what you create. Recordings of your recitation, notes you write, and other content you submit remain your property.
License to operate the Service. You grant Ikraplus a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content as necessary to operate the Service for you (for example, to send a recording to OpenAI Whisper for transcription, or to show a recording to a teacher you submitted it to). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your recitations to train AI models.
Recordings are short-lived. Recitation audio is automatically deleted from our storage within 24 hours of upload by our object storage lifecycle policy. The associated tajweed scores, transcript, and metadata are kept until you delete them.
The Service itself — the application code, design, branding, scoring algorithms, written explanations, lesson content, and all other materials we provide — is owned by Green Light Global Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Quran Arabic text is in the public domain. We display the standard Uthmani script. English and Turkish translations are licensed under terms set by their original publishers; see the public Quran APIs we use (Quran.com / Quran Foundation) for translator attribution.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own learning and worship. You may not copy, redistribute, or build derivative apps from our materials without written permission.
The core features of Ikraplus are free. We may offer subscription plans (such as Pro, Family, Madrasa) with additional features. When paid plans are available:
If a paid feature is removed or substantially changed, we will refund a prorated portion of any prepaid subscription affected.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This is permanent.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if you abuse the Service, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We will give reasonable notice unless safety or legal compliance requires immediate action.
After termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) continue to apply.
Ikraplus is an educational tool. It is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified Quran teacher (ḥāfiẓ, shaykh, or qārī).
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ikraplus disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will be perfectly accurate. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific spiritual or educational goals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Ikraplus, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ikraplus, Green Light Global Inc., and our directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in Travis County, Texas (or remotely, by the arbitrator's discretion). The arbitrator's decision is final and binding.
Class action waiver. You and Ikraplus each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court. We may also seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.
If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where mandatory consumer law applies, nothing in this section limits your rights under that law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top, post the new version at this URL, and (where appropriate) notify you in the app or by email. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and delete your account.
